Nationwide Rise in Seasonal and Vector-Borne Diseases Amidst Rainfall

Kathmandu. The outbreak of seasonal and vector-borne diseases has increased across the country with rainfall.

During the monsoon, drinking water sources become contaminated and mosquito breeding intensifies, leading to a nationwide increase in the risk of diseases such as Japanese Encephalitis (JE), Dengue, Cholera, Diarrhea, and Scrub Typhus.
