Nepali Congress Reassigns District Convention Leadership in Sudurpashchim

Dhangadhi. The Nepali Congress has taken away the responsibility of conducting the convention from the district presidents of three districts in Sudurpashchim and given it to other leaders to advance the 15th general convention process. The Congress central leadership has given the executive responsibility related to the convention to other leaders in place of the elected district presidents in Kailali, Kanchanpur, and Doti, citing their non-cooperation in advancing the convention process.

The most recent decision was made in Kailali. The Congress central office has taken away the convention-related responsibility from District President Narayandatta Bhatta and given the responsibility of acting president to Vice-President Bhim Bahadur Baduwal.
