When the screen of Jay Nepal Hall suddenly went dark on October 4, 2078, amidst the second wave of the Corona pandemic and the intense wave of multiplexes, many thought that a golden chapter of Nepal's oldest and most historic cinema hall had ended forever. There was talk of a sky-high commercial complex or apartment being built in place of that building, which remained deserted for about 55 months. However, history is not always written to be erased; some histories are revived to remain alive.
