Sagarmatha Digital Director Denies Copyright Infringement and Fraud Allegations

Kathmandu. Sagarmatha Digital Pvt. Ltd. director Hira Bahadur KC has stated that he has not used lyricist Shashi Sharma Majgaiya's creations unauthorizedly and has not committed any fraud. KC stated this in his statement during the investigation of a copyright infringement and fraud case filed in the Kathmandu District Court.

In his statement to the investigating officer, KC claimed that the lyrics were purchased from Majgaiya through mutual understanding and contractual agreement. He stated that he produced and broadcast songs by arranging music for these purchased lyrics by other individuals.
