2023 Nissan X-Trail e-Power: Next-gen SUV equipped with hybrid power launched in Nepal

Pioneer Moto Corp Pvt. Ltd., the official and sole distributor of Nissan, has unveiled an innovative and interesting SUV, the Nissan X-Trail e-Power in Nepal. Nissan has incorporated intriguing technology into its 7-seater SUV, earning good reviews in both the European and Australian markets.

The car is electric but not fully. The X-Trail uses an e-Power system which is a series hybrid system that involves using a petrol engine to produce electricity, which then powers an electric motor that moves the vehicle. This setup enhances efficiency by separating the engine from directly driving the wheels. Nissan debuted its e-Power technology in 2016 with the Nissan Note e-Power in Japan.
