Sri Lanka to recruit over 120,000 in public service by 2026

Kathmandu. Sri Lanka has started a program to recruit more than 120,000 people in public service in 2026, Public Administration Minister Chandana Aberathne said on Friday.

"This recruitment will fill vacant positions in various sectors of the public sector, including education, health, and agriculture," Aberathne told reporters.
