WHO refutes efficacy of ‘mix and match’ of different vaccines

KATHMANDU, June 24: The World Health Organization (WHO) has refuted the claims that a ‘mix and match’ regimen of Vero Cell and AstraZeneca CoviShield Vaccine would yield more effective results.

Issuing a press release on Wednesday, WHO clarified that it has not issued any such statements and the attribution is false. “Such misinformation can lead to grave consequences for the public”, reads the press release.
