Nepal Hosts 'Sagarmatha to the Sea' Event in New York to Address Climate Change

New York. Nepal has organized a special program called 'Sagarmatha to the Sea' in New York, USA, to strongly raise the issue of climate change to the world. A high-level special program focused on climate, titled 'Sagarmatha to the Sea: A Call to Action for a Climate Resilient Future', organized by Nepal at the United Nations Headquarters, was held under the leadership of Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal.

Nepal decided to hold the high-level special program after the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi. High-level participation from Nepal, the United Nations, and various countries around the world was present in the program. Nepal presented a short video of the Bhote Koshi flood.
