Division in Parliamentary Committees: NC-4, UML-3, MC- 2

Kathmandu: The consensus has been reached among the major political parties in Nepal regarding the leadership of three parliamentary committees, with the Nepali Congress gaining control of four, the Maoist Center obtaining two, while Unified Socialist, JSP, and Janamat securing one each. Additionally, the main opposition party, Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist), will lead three parliamentary committees.

However, neither Rashtriya Prjatantra Party (RPP) nor Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been given the opportunity to lead any parliamentary committee.
