Bridge Approach Road Washed Away by Flood in Nawalparasi, Severing Connection

Nawalparasi. The approach road on the Nawalpur side of the motorable bridge connecting Nawalparasi (Bardghat-Susta East) and Tanahun has been completely obstructed after being washed away by a flood. According to the Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Bardghat-Susta East), Anil Pandit, the connection between Deudagaun of Baudikali Rural Municipality-2 and Ghiring Rural Municipality of Tanahun has been severed after the bridge's approach road was washed away.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Pandit informed that due to the erosion of the bridge's foundation on the Nawalpur side caused by the flood in the Kaligandaki River after continuous rainfall, the movement of vehicles and pedestrians has been obstructed.
