Heavy Rainfall Subsides, Weather Improves Monday

Kathmandu. Heavy rainfall in various parts of the country, especially the central region, will decrease from tonight, and the weather will significantly improve from tomorrow (Monday). According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the low-pressure system around North Pradesh, India, and the moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal have caused heavy rainfall in various parts of Nepal.

According to meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari of the department, in the last 24 hours, more than 150 millimeters of rainfall was measured in some places in Makwanpur and Chitwan of Bagmati Province, Myagdi, Syangja, Tanahu, and Nawalparasi East of Gandaki Province, and Palpa and Nawalparasi West of Lumbini Province. Similarly, more than 100 millimeters of rainfall occurred in districts including Kaski, Lamjung, Baglung, Parbat, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Arghakhanchi, and Sarlahi.
