National Medical College Faces Doctor Protest Over Controversial Policies

Kathmandu. The dispute between resident doctors studying at National Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Birgunj and the college administration has reached a serious stage.

Doctors, newly appointed and currently working, who were admitted through the matching process of the National Medical Education Commission and Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine, have intensified their protest, alleging that the college administration has implemented illegal and controversial policies.
