Malaysia's Ng Eain Yow and Sivasangari Subramaniam Make History in Squash, Qualify for 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

Kathmandu. Malaysia's Eain Yow Ng and Sivasangari Subramaniam have created history by winning gold medals in squash at the 20th Asian Games currently underway in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. They have become the first squash players to qualify for the Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles, USA in 2028. Squash is being included in the Los Angeles Olympics for the first time.

Defending champions Ng and Sivasangari defended their titles by winning the men's and women's singles finals on Sunday. They won gold without losing a single match throughout the competition. In the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, winning a gold medal in squash has been made a provision for automatic qualification for the Olympics.
