Final hearing today in rape case against Lamichhane

APRIL 5: The Kathmandu District Court is scheduled to conduct the final hearing in the rape case filed against former captain of Nepal Men’s National Cricket Team, Sandeep Lamichhane, today. The case was filed after accusations that Lamichhane had raped a minor in a hotel in Sinamangal. He was arrested and later released on bail of Rs. 2,000,000 by the Supreme Court, which had ordered the District Court to conclude the hearing on a "fast track."
