Nepal Pharmacy Association Protests Ministry's Actions in Council Member Appointments

Kathmandu. The Nepal Pharmacy Association has expressed serious objection and protest against the recent activities in the process initiated by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Cleanliness, for the purpose of listing in the roster for appointment of members to the Nepal Pharmacy Council.

As per Section 5(1)(e) of the Nepal Pharmacy Council Act, 2057, the application process for member appointment was initiated, the final list was published on Bhadra 17, 2083, and the interview was completed on Bhadra 18. The association has stated that it is an extremely serious and objectionable matter that after not making the results public, an interview notice was published again after 21 days on Asauj 8, 2083, including some new organizations and individuals.
