South Korea Demands Explanation and Apology from Ukraine Over North Korean POWs

Seoul. South Korea's presidential office has demanded a formal explanation and apology from Ukraine for making public the handover of two North Korean prisoners of war (POWs) to South Korea.

In a statement released Sunday by Song Gi-ho, senior presidential secretary for public relations, South Korea expressed strong regret over Ukraine's unilateral public announcement and false declaration of no non-disclosure agreement. He also informed that the government is reviewing further steps if necessary.
