David Boon Appointed Interim Chairman of Cricket Australia

Kathmandu. Former Australian cricketer David Boon is set to be appointed as the interim chairman of Cricket Australia (CA). Boon will take over as interim chairman from October 28, following the decision of current Cricket Australia chairman Mike Baird to resign after the annual general meeting.
Baird had been serving as chairman while remaining on the Cricket Australia board since February 2023. He has informed the board that he will not be seeking re-election for the chairman position and will step down after the annual general meeting.
