FNCCI seeks electricity VAT rollback, warns of rising business costs

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged the government to withdraw the value-added tax (VAT) imposed on electricity tariffs, warning that the measure is increasing production costs and putting additional pressure on businesses.
