Apple shuts stores in New York City amid raging COVID-19 infections

NEW YORK: DEC. 28 – Apple closed all of its stores to in-person shoppers in New York City on Monday as new COVID-19 cases spiked in recent days, according to multiple media reports.

Customers are only allowed to pick up online orders at 16 stores across the city and it’s not clear how long the temporary measure would be in place, according to a report by Bloomberg.
