Tanahun Forests Construct Ponds to Manage Human-Wildlife Conflict

Tanahun. Ponds have been constructed in various community forests in Tanahun for human-wildlife conflict management. The Division Forest Office has constructed ponds in eight community forests in the district in the fiscal year 2082/83 with the objective of helping wild animals drink water.

The forest office has advanced the pond conservation campaign as wild animals, in search of water, started attacking humans, informed Manoj Ranabhat, Chief of the Division Forest Office, Tanahun.
