Myanmar Army Airstrike Kills 49 in Rakhine State Market

Bangkok. At least 49 people were killed and 58 injured in an airstrike by the army in an area controlled by the rebel group Arakan Army in Myanmar's western Rakhine state.

According to the Arakan Army and an official involved in rescue work, a fighter jet dropped two bombs near a local market in Kyauktaw Township on Monday. It is said that the deceased included market traders, customers who came to buy goods, and ordinary people walking on the road. The Arakan Army has stated that 22 of the injured are in serious condition.
