Manchester City CEO Vows to Fight Premier League Financial Rule Breach Charges

Denmark. Manchester City Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ferran Soriano has said that the club will continue to fight the charges related to Premier League financial rule breaches. Soriano expressed this view to other club executives at the European Football Clubs (formerly ECA) board meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark, according to BBC Sport. He stated that the process related to the charges would still take a long time.

According to the Press Association, Soriano mentioned in the meeting the context of the Premier League's investigation starting in 2018, saying, 'It took eight years to get here, and now it will take much longer.' He then left the meeting venue without answering reporters' questions.
