Human rights commission summons Kathmandu police chief over Rana detention

SSP Santosh Khadka has been asked to explain why a National Human Rights Commission team was denied access to former chief justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana while he was in custody.

The National Human Rights Commission has summoned Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Khadka, chief of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office in Teku, for questioning over the detention of former chief justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.
