Two Arrested for Selling Homemade Liquor in Machhegaon

Kathmandu. Police have arrested two people from Machhegaon, Kathmandu, on charges of selling homemade liquor. The arrested are Madan Tamang, originally from Pathari Sanischare Municipality-4, Morang, and currently residing in Machhegaon, and Samir Tamang, 23, also from the same place.

They were involved in preparing and selling homemade liquor in a hut located in Machhegaon, Chandragiri Municipality-9. A team dispatched from Thankot Police Station and the Inland Revenue Office, Kalanki, seized 650 liters of liquor kept for sale in the hut, along with 4,000 liters of raw liquid used for making homemade liquor and utensils.
