Prithvi Highway Reopens One-Way After Landslides, Vehicles Depart Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Vehicles stuck in Kathmandu have started to leave after the Prithvi Highway, which was obstructed due to floods and landslides, came into one-way operation. According to Nepal Police, this highway has come into one-way operation after clearing the landslide.
With the highway opening one-way, there is now increased traffic pressure in the Baf-Kalanki-Dhungeadda-Thankot area. Large goods vehicles that were stopped on the Kalanki-Balkhu-Sanepa road section since Friday have also started heading towards their destinations.
