Nepali Congress Morang District Leadership Elections Intensify

Biratnagar. The election fervor for the selection of municipal and regional leadership under the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress is ongoing in Morang. Leadership has been selected unanimously in Constituency No. 5 among the six constituencies in the district, while competition for leadership is intense in other constituencies.

While the process of selecting leadership is moving forward in most areas of Morang, the election program for Biratnagar Metropolitan City and Constituency No. 6 has been postponed. As Biratnagar Metropolitan City is divided into three constituencies, the voting scheduled for Sunday has been postponed to tomorrow citing management reasons. The nomination registration process was completed on Sunday itself.
