Doctors end protest after shutting down health services across Nepal for two days

Hundreds of thousands of ailing people suffered due to a nationwide strike of doctors protesting against physical assaults on them. Emergency wards were overwhelmed.

Nepal Medical Association has called off its nationwide strike after shutting down all hospital services except emergency care for two days as it reached a five-point agreement with the government.
