West Asia Oil Exports Show Improvement

Oil exports from West Asia have increased significantly this month, according to some oil analysts, bringing them close to the level before Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz in March. This improvement may reduce pressure on global energy prices.

According to Kepler, a company that tracks oil tankers, an average of 10 million barrels of oil per day passed through this waterway in September. In addition, Kepler's data shows that 6 million barrels of crude oil per day were exported this month from Persian Gulf nations through pipelines and ports that bypass the strait.
