MPs Cause 'Terror' in Ministries During Parliamentary Breaks

Kathmandu. 'Even if there is a holiday of only one or two days in Parliament, the honorable members do not let us come and sit and work,' a chief personal secretary of a minister was saying in front of a Rastrapati representative in Singha Durbar on Monday. The personal secretary said that the MPs go to the ministry's door and the minister's room to give instructions.

As he said, on days when the Parliament session is not in session, an unbearable crowd of 'honorable members' i.e. MPs is seen in the ministries within Singha Durbar. This crowd is not just for general meetings, but to harass and pressure ministers, secretaries, and joint secretaries. It is seen that the MPs of the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) are more focused on such activities.
