After Gen-Z Protests, UAE, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Other Nations Tighten Visa Rules

Following the recent Gen Z movement, countries including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and South Korea have begun tightening their visa policies for Nepali citizens.

Widespread destruction erupted across the country on September 9, following a government crackdown on the Gen Z protests on September 8. During the chaos, approximately 16,000 of the nation's 30,000 inmates escaped from 27 different prisons.
