India, who have fielded a much younger team in the tournament, edge Nepal 1-0 while Bangladesh put a dozen past Bhutan.

The SAFF U19 Women’s Championship kicked off between four teams at Pokhara Stadium on Saturday, with India and Bangladesh emerging victorious over Nepal and Bhutan, respectively.
