Baglung Floods and Landslides Cause Significant Damage and Loss of Life

Baglung. Continuous rainfall from October 9 to 11 has severely affected Nisi Khola and Taman Khola. According to the District Administration Office, floods and landslides have washed away 61 houses and huts in the district, while 51 houses have been partially damaged.

51 houses and 10 huts in Baglung have been swept away by the flood. 12 people have died and one person is still missing due to floods and landslides. The ward office of Gallkot Municipality-9 has been washed away by the erosion of Daram Khola. Three suspension bridges have been washed away and two police offices have been partially damaged.
