Nepal-China Trade: Discussion on Resuming Tatopani Border Crossing

Kathmandu. A discussion was held between Nepal Chamber of Commerce Chairman Anjan Shrestha and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Mao Ming regarding diplomatic and technical facilitation necessary for the operation of the Tatopani customs border crossing.

In the discussion, Chairman Shrestha urged the Chinese side to provide necessary facilitation for the immediate resumption of the Tatopani border crossing to reduce disruptions in the supply chain and ensure smooth supply for traders and consumers. He stated that continuous coordination between both countries is necessary to facilitate trade movement in difficult situations and maintain the business confidence of the private sector.
