Health Ministry Discusses Establishing Disease Control Center and Health Accreditation Authority

Kathmandu. Although it was announced to establish a 'Center for Disease Control CDC' for disease surveillance and control and to form a 'National Health Accreditation Authority' for measuring the quality of health services and institutions, the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene has finally started preliminary discussions.

The ministry started discussions with stakeholders on Wednesday to determine the work direction related to the Center for Disease Control, Food and Drug Administration, and National Health Accreditation Authority.
