Nepal Urges Malaysia to Remove Nepali Companies from FWCM System

Kathmandu. Nepal has urged to remove Nepal's listed manpower companies from the Foreign Worker Centralized Management System (FWCMS) implemented for recruiting Nepali workers. The government has sent a letter to the Malaysian government based on the applications of 25 main companies and 250 subsidiary companies in Nepal.

After the Ministry of Labor and the Department of Foreign Employment initiated an investigation into the involvement in the selection process, those companies submitted written applications to the ministry in the first week of Bhadra stating that they did not wish to join the system.
