Nepal Women's Kabaddi Captain Manmati Bisht Reflects on Asian Games Bronze Medal

Kathmandu. For Nepali women's kabaddi team captain Manmati Bisht, the bronze medal won at the 20th Asian Games currently underway in Japan has become a memory of an incomplete dream along with happiness. She said that their big dream of playing in the Asian Games final could not be fulfilled after being defeated by India in the semi-finals.

'It was our very big dream to fight in the final. We had made a plan to play in the final on a big platform like the Asian Games,' Manmati said after returning home. 'It became a bit difficult because we faced India in the semi-finals. But we are happy to be able to retain our medal.'
