Ghanendra Basnet, Communist Leader and Former MP, Passes Away

Kathmandu. A 'living legend' of the Nepali communist movement, who never compromised his principles for power or position, the loyal leader Ghanendra Basnet is no longer with us physically.

Basnet, who had been battling cancer for a long time, passed away on Wednesday evening while undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.
