Social Inclusion In Health

In many of the South Asian countries, social exclusion and gender inequalities are one of the most persistent challenges in sustainable human development. Nepal’s incredible diversity in terms of geography, culture, religion, caste, ethnicity and indigeneity have profoundly impacted on socio-economic development and prosperity. However, there is uneven progress within and across social groups such as women, children, youth, senior citizens, persons with disability, indigenous people, sexual and gender minorities.
