Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office is preparing to make fire extinguishers mandatory along with route permits to make passenger public vehicles safer, more organized, and passenger-friendly.

The Valley Traffic Police Office is preparing to make the regular monitoring of public vehicles effective and strict on issues directly related to passenger safety. For this, in coordination with the relevant bodies, the condition of public vehicles, necessary documents, route permits, and safety equipment will be regularly inspected.
