Dairy and Sweet Shop Fined Rs 2 Lakh in Rautahat

Rautahat. During market inspection in Gaur, the district headquarters of Rautahat, a dairy and sweets shop has been fined Rs 2 lakh for keeping expired and quality-compromised food items for sale.

The action was taken after irregularities were found during the inspection of Phultara Dairy & Sweets Bhandar located at Ghantaghar, Gaur-Budhbar by a joint team including the Office of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection, Birgunj, District Administration Office, Rautahat, Gaur Municipality, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
