Baglung Municipality Distributes Water Amidst Shortage

Baglung. The municipality has started distributing water through fire engines and tankers after a severe water shortage in Baglung Bazaar. The problem arose after a landslide washed away the drinking water pipeline that supplies Baglung Bazaar on October 8.

The municipality began distributing water through fire engines and tankers from Thursday morning for cooking and sanitation for the residents of the bazaar. After the pipeline was washed away, about 4,500 consumers in Baglung Bazaar have been facing drinking water problems for the last five days.
