MP Sulabh Kharel Demands Establishment of Nepal Law University

Kathmandu. National Independent Party (NIP) MP Sulabh Kharel has demanded the establishment of a separate 'Nepal Law University' for higher study and research of law, constitution, and justice in Nepal.

In the zero hour of Thursday's House of Representatives meeting, MP Kharel stated that it is unfortunate that although Nepal has a parliament to make laws, a government to implement them, and a court to interpret them, there is no specialized university for higher study of law. Kharel said, 'We have all the organs of law, but why don't we have our own specialized law university for higher study and research of law?'
