London. 'Football Leaks' founder and famous hacker Rui Pinto has made serious allegations against FIFA President Gianni Infantino. He has accused Infantino of interfering to save Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from Financial Fair Play (FFP) action when he was the General Secretary of UEFA. Therefore, he also said that Infantino should not remain in football leadership in the future. Pinto reiterated the allegations made public in 2018 on the social media 'X' on Wednesday, claiming that Infantino had abused his authority in 2014. According to him, Infantino influenced UEFA's investigation process and played a role in saving both clubs from serious action. According to the documents allegedly released by Pinto, City and PSG were accused of inflating the value of sponsorship deals to meet FFP rules. Pinto alleges that Infantino played a role in creating an environment where both clubs would receive relatively lighter penalties as the possibility of action increased. He claims that Infantino exchanged confidential documents related to the investigation and 'overrode' the investigation room, saving both clubs from major action. According to Pinto, if a detailed investigation had proceeded at that time, both clubs could have faced action up to a ban from the Champions League. 'Infantino is a cancer for football and he has no place in the future of football,' Pinto wrote.
