Nepal Out of SAFF Championship Due to FIFA Suspension

Kathmandu. The SAFF Championship, considered the biggest stage in South Asian football, will be held without Nepal this time. It has been confirmed that Nepal will miss the SAFF Championship for the first time in its history.

The deadline given by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) for Nepal's participation in the 15th SAFF Championship to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from November 4 to 17 has passed on September 30. However, Nepal has been eliminated from the competition as the suspension imposed by the International Football Federation (FIFA) on the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has not been lifted.
