Tribhuvan University Assembly Meeting Faces Opposition

Kathmandu. Professor, employee, and student organizations affiliated with Tribhuvan University have objected to the assembly meeting called for October 8 (Ashwin 22).
In a joint press release issued on October 1 (Ashwin 15), it is mentioned that the officials have violated the provision of the TU Act 2049, which requires agenda and notice to be provided at least 15 days in advance for the meeting. They have expressed dissatisfaction with the leadership's style, accusing them of trying to bypass the process by excluding the mandatory participation of professors, employees, and student union representatives.
