Transmission Line Repair Begins in Myagdi and Mustang After Flood Damage

Myagdi. Repair of the transmission line for electricity supply in Annapurna Rural Municipality and Mustang of Myagdi, affected by floods and landslides, has begun.

Four towers of the 220 KV capacity Dana-Khurkot transmission line were toppled in Bhirkate of Pokharebagar, Dhirchyang, and Doba in Annapurna Rural Municipality of Myagdi due to the flood in the Kaligandaki river from the heavy rainfall from October 8 to 11. The line was broken when the towers fell, cutting off electricity supply to Mustang district and Annapurna Rural Municipality.
