Constitution Day being marked today

Kathmandu, September 19 — Today marks Constitution Day and National Day 2024. Various events are being held both domestically and internationally to celebrate this occasion with enthusiasm. Federal, provincial, and local governments, political parties, NGOs, civil society, the private sector, and social organizations are all participating in different activities to commemorate Constitution Day.

The main ceremony in the federal capital, Kathmandu, will take place this morning at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel, with President Ramchandra Paudel as the chief guest. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chair of the Constitution Day main celebration committee, will deliver a speech during the event. This evening, President Paudel will host a reception at the presidential residence.
