Nepal Medical Association Condemns Attack on Doctors and Health Workers at Bhaktapur Hospital

Kathmandu. The Nepal Medical Association has expressed its concern over the inhumane and condemnable incident that occurred at Bhaktapur Hospital. The association has condemned the incident where the hospital premises were vandalized and the doctors and health workers on duty were attacked for not admitting a patient to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

The Nepal Medical Association has demanded that the culprits involved in such indecent and criminal activities be immediately subjected to the strictest possible action in accordance with the "Health Workers and Health Institutions Protection Act, 2066 (First Amendment, 2079)".
