MP Anushka Shrestha Draws Attention to Heinous Crimes Against Minors and Rising Violence Against Women

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Anushka Shrestha has drawn the government's attention to the heinous crimes against minors and the growing problem of violence against women in Parliament. In Friday's meeting of the House of Representatives, she questioned the issue of heinous crimes against minors raised in the House earlier and the initiatives the government should take in this regard.

MP Shrestha expressed gratitude for the prompt response shown by the government when the issue of rape of a three-year-old minor was raised in the House in the past. Stating that she understands the government has many responsibilities, she said, 'I am confident that this issue has not disappeared from our priority. I want to know what work is being done on the expected report that is said to have been prepared on this.'
