Nepali Film: "Jetha Mai Oiro, Asar Ma Khaderi" (Kathmandu)

An imbalance has been observed in Nepali film production. Data from the Film Development Board over the past three months shows unstable film production trends.

In Asar (June/July), Shakti Namobuddha Films Pvt. Ltd. was the first to obtain film production permission for a movie titled "Kahaa Bhetiyela" ( Where Shall We Meet? ). The film, produced and directed by Milan Tamang, will feature actors like Dhiraj Magar, Buddhi Tamang, and Syama Shri Sherpa, among others. Notably, a decade ago, a film with the same title was produced by late actor Shrikrishna Shrestha, directed by late filmmaker Shiva Regmi, and marked the debut of actress Shweta Khadka.
